New Trannie Options

The new full body pre-op transgendered showerproof skintone mesh using louis v.7 skintones. This is a male mesh so you'll likely need a few outfits from simmergirl to complete your sim. Other option is to add dicks to your girls with the new crammyboy hack for girls. It affects all female sims but you can choose to enable how you'd like to use it

Rape Hack

Carrigon at Sims2Workshop has a rape hack. I've never used and don't plan to but it is out there. Basically you fight another sim naked and they get a nasty "rape" memory and get a big negative rating. Not my cup of tea but just in case you wanted it.....

Packaging and Downloading Sims and Lots

It is fairly important that you use Sims2Pack Clean Installer to delete unneeded recolours and objects from the lots you want to share. You can download and read about it here.

Here is a guide on how to package your lots.

Prior to Pets, you had to be very cautious about the Lots you uploaded because the game was down-right obsessive compulsive about including every recolour of every item you used (and may have even deleted from the lot during design) when it packaged the lot for sharing. You can opt not to add these additional content to your game when adding a downloaded lot.
.

Also make sure to have up to date patches and add lots one a time if you run into lots not showing up in your game.

When you package a sim, are his/her body meshes packaged with him/her?

Only with Pets. If you have the expansion pack before that you will need to include them seperately. If the mesh is not there it go to a maxis default.

The version of Body Shop that installs along with the Pets expansion contains certain flaws that cause most of the content made with Pets Body Shop to work incorrectly for users without Pets. Items will show up as naked full body sim thumbnails regardless of type, and will not work properly.
.

Maxis has released a patch which fixes this problem, making it so any further items created in Body Shop will be fixed. You can get the patch here: http://thesims2.ea.com/help/index.php?pid=Help

The patch will correct the problem after its installed. Pre-patch creations can be fixed with Simpe.

When you package a sim, do you get the entire wardrobe in the package, or only the clothes they are wearing when you package them?

Only the 1 outfit they are wearing.

When you package a house or business lot, are the meshes included in the package too?

.

Yes, and generally a lot more. If the lot was in use when it was packaged you may even get that player's sims as well. Make sure to take them out of the install when clean installer detects them (or especially before they were uploaded in the first place). In-game Sims cannot be copied as they will bring all severed relationships and will either crash the game or create duplicated characters who were part of the original neighborhood.

So again with Lots take out any sims, hacks, and any custom content that should not be included before the upload. Downloaders have to double check after the install with clean installer as they are adding the content and take out anything they don't want to add.

In-game Sims can be cloned and packaged the safe way through Simpe. All others again need to be designed in bodyshop for easier packaging and sharing

Gay Sims

Well I've highlighted a lot of great downloads and mods for your female sims. We might as well highlight the other side which is also an active part of the gaming community. Gays Sims 2 is a rather thriving forum with 15,000+ members (gay and lesbian).

The biggest modders there and at Insemenator would be Marvin and Beosboxboy who have done all the bodymeshing you've seen by member's like Warlock except for the male sims.

As with the Sims, gay and lesbian sim attractions and interactions are completely available to your game.

Simmergirl is another great site that has also added Trans and Trannie meshes and outfits to your game. Now your guys can be "girls" if you wish them to be.

Warlock's Tower Part 2

Warlock is the top body modder in the sims community so it would be a shame to glance over all the cool bodyshapes he's added to the sims. Here's a link to a guide to all his newest shapes by cup size and the appropriate links to the content.

Bootygal, this curvaceous gal was made with an astounding backside, full ample bosom, round tummy and a smooth, curvy shape from her head to her toes.

Rio Based on Brazilian Playboy model Ellen Roche, as well as celebrities like J-Lo and Vida Guerra, and intended as a more realistic alternative to the BootyGal, this shape has a full, round backside, narrow waist, and natural but perky breasts I would guess are around a D.

Renaissance Gal, a shape inspired by the artwork of Greek sculptors and Renaissance art, and by full-figured women everywhere, the Renaissance Gal! Her shape speaks for itself, just look at those curves... full round bottom, ample breasts, a larger torso and tummy, she will definitely stand out from all of my previous work.

Fashion Model Bodyshape. Inspired by modern fashion/runway models seen in women's magazines everywhere, this shape has a narrow waist and flat tummy, with curvy hips and backside and perky breasts. She is around a 32C-24-34, I would estimate (but don't hold me to that), compared to the default 34B-28-34 shape.

PowerGirl. Inspired by the buxom ladies of superhero comics, mixed with a bit of modern fitness models, and a bit of Frazetta-esque fantasy illustration style thrown in, she's a striking figure in any situation. With an expanded torso, arms and thighs, a very flat tummy, thin waist, and a decidedly ample busom, she will be sure to break hearts (or heads) in any sim neighborhood!

Classic Pinup. Hearken back to the heydays of the Silver Screen, the Vargas Girls, the immortal Pinup... names like Marilyn Monroe, Bettie Page, Mae West, the original Playmates from the 50's and 60's... real women, with real curves, and real class.

Where do I put my downloaded Residential/Community Lots?

Copy/move the sims2pack file into your downloads folder. Double-click on the file, and the a little window will appear asking whether you want to install the custom house/object. Just click install, and there you go! The new house will show up in your the bin with the rest of the Maxi's houses, ready for you to place in your neighbourhood.

Quick Skinning Tutorial

Hot Keys:There are several hot keys in The Sims 2 Body Shop that help you preview your Sims. Many of these can be used in combination to get a precise view of your Sim.

F3 -- Toggles between “free camera” and “set camera” modes. In free camera, you can use the following mouse controls to rotate the camera in all dimensions:

* Click and drag the Left Mouse Button -- Orbits the camera around the Sim’s head.
* Click and drag the Right Mouse Button -- Controls the camera zoom. Move the mouse away from you to zoom out. Move the mouse toward you to zoom in.
* Click and drag Left and Right mouse buttons together -- Changes the center point the camera is looking at.

F5 -- Toggles the 3D room off and on. If there is a bitmap graphic named “userBkg.bmp” in the “\EA Games\The Sims 2\” folder in My Documents, the image will be displayed as a backdrop.

F6 -- Displays the Sim in the “bind pose,” with arms held straight out. This is helpful for viewing parts of the Sim that may be hidden by the normal pose. To return the Sim to the normal pose, click on any Sim thumbnail or content thumbnail.
